- hosts = End System (Sever & Client)
- 정의 : 정보 공유를 목적으로 시스템과 시스템을 연결한 망
- 목적 : 정보 공유
- 구성 : 시스템과 시스템을 연결
- 장점 : 시간 단축 및 비용 절감
- 단점 : 보안 취약 (정보 유출, 시스템 공격, 서비스 연결 방해)
인터넷(Internet)
- Network of Networks (Interconnected ISP(Internet Service Providers))
프로토콜(Protocol)
- Control Sending, recieving of messages
- the format & order of messages exchanged between two or more communicating entities
- 데이터 전송 규약(도구)
- 네트워크 환경에서 데이터를 전송할 때 사용되는 도구
ex) TCP, IP, UDP, Ethernet, HTTP, and so on...
Wireless Access Networks
- WAN(Wide Area Network) : LTE : 300Mbps, LTE-A : 3Gbps, 5G : 20Gbps
- MAN(Metropolitan Area Network)
- LAN(Local Area Network)
- PAN(Personal Area Network)
ex) Bluetooth
- BAN(Body Area Network)
- On Body : 스마트 워치, wearable device
- In Body : under the skin(의료기기)
